Storebrand Emerging Markets Wins Lipper Award

27 mars 2026

Top performing fund wins best Equity Emerging Markets Global category over ten years.

Storebrand Emerging Markets has won a prestigious Europe 2026 Lipper Fund Award for outstanding performance. The fund, which provides broad exposure to emerging market equities while applying Storebrand’s extended exclusion list, has been awarded best equity emerging markets global fund over ten years.

For more than three decades, the LSEG Lipper Fund Awards have recognized funds and fund management firms for their consistently strong risk-adjusted three-, five-, and ten-year performance relative to their peers. Based on Lipper's quantitative, proprietary methodology, the awards reflect an independent assessment of fund performance. More details about the awards and methodology are available here.

Launched in 2010, Storebrand Emerging Markets is a passive equity fund that tracks the MSCI Emerging Markets Index. It follows Storebrand’s standard for sustainable investments and extended exclusion list which avoids investment in companies that are in breach of international standards and conventions, as well as those that generate more than five per cent of sales from the production and/or distribution of fossil fuels, tobacco, weapons, alcohol, gambling, pornography or cannabis.

Henrik Wold Nilsen, Lead Portfolio Manager, Storebrand Emerging Markets, commented:

“This award recognises the fund’s successful long-term track record of combining attractive asset class exposure to emerging market equities with Storebrand’s best-in-class sustainability platform. We would like to thank our clients for their long-standing support, and we look forward to continuing to deliver the investment performance and ESG criteria that meets their evolving needs.”

Important information:

The LSEG Lipper Fund Awards, granted annually, highlight funds and fund companies that have excelled in delivering consistently strong risk-adjusted performance relative to their peers. The LSEG Lipper Fund Awards are based on the Lipper Leader for Consistent Return rating, which is an objective, quantitative, risk-adjusted performance measure calculated over 36, 60 and 120 months. The fund with the highest Lipper Leader for Consistent Return (Effective Return) value in each eligible classification wins the LSEG Lipper Fund Award. For more information, see lipperfundawards.com. Although LSEG Lipper makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data used to calculate the awards, their accuracy is not guaranteed.
