>

Ole Søeberg, CIO and Portfolio Manager of SKAGEN Vekst will change role to focus solely on managing Vekst. SKAGEN's CEO, Leif Ola Rød, will become acting CIO with effect from 4 April 2016.

Ole joined SKAGEN in 2011 as Portfolio Manager in Vekst and took on the additional CIO position in January 2015. He has contributed to developing the CIO position but has decided to fully focus on his portfolio management role.

Leif Ola has experience as CIO and will be supported by a strong and experienced portfolio team in his dual role. He has been CEO of SKAGEN since January 2015 and has 25 years' experience in international asset management.

"During 2015 the equity funds' portfolios have become more concentrated around the companies that the portfolio managers believe in. As acting CIO, Leif Ola will continue the process that Ole started creating an environment of dynamic shared investment thinking that can be capitalised into good returns," says Henrik Lisaeth, Chairman of SKAGEN's Board of Directors.

SKAGEN has initiated a process to find a permanent CIO.
