Investor rights

Storebrand Asset Management AS is a management company authorized by the Norwegian supervisory authority, Finanstilsynet, for the management of UCITS under the Norwegian Act on Securities Funds. 

Storebrand Asset Management AS has its registered office at Professor Kohts vei 27, 1366 Lysaker, Norway. Storebrand Asset Management is part of the Storebrand Group and is owned 100% by Storebrand ASA. 

The information in this document is intended as a summary of investor rights for the purposes of the European Union Cross Border Distribution Regulation (EU 2019/1156).

Entitlement to receive certain information relating to your investment 

As an investor, a copy of the latest Prospectus, KIID, Annual Report and Semi-Annual Report will be accessible via https://www.storebrand.com/sam/international/asset-management. The latest net asset value (NAV) per share of the relevant fund is available on our webpages. 

As an investor, your right of information shall be guaranteed and any material changes to certain information contained in the prospectus provided to you before you invested shall be notified to you in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements. 
 

Entitlement to redeem your investment 

Investors are entitled to redeem their investment and receive the redemption proceeds relating to their shared within the timeframe and subject to such conditions as detailed in the prospectus of Storebrand Asset Management AS' funds. 

Voting rights and reted matters 

An investor has the right to vote in election meetings and unit holder meetings on resolutions relating to the relevant fund and/or share class thereof in accordance with the conditions set down in the prospectus. 

Investors shall also be intitled to be treated fairly and equally, within the timeframe and subject to such conditions as detailed in the prospectus, in case of liquidation of the relevant fund or share class they are invested into. 
 

Entitlement to make a complaint 

As an investor, you are entitled to file a complaint free of charge. You will find more information about Storebrand Asset Management AS' complaints policy and handling of any such complaint via complaint form. Storebrand Asset Management AS is committed to address any complaints submitted through its complaint resolution procedure. 

If you are not happy with the service you have received and wish to file a formal complaint, you should address it with Storebrand Asset Management AS directly. 

You may also take your complaint to your national complaints organization or ombudsman service. 

Investors who are EU/EEA residents can also file complaints through the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR), or make a complaint about a financial service provider in another EEA country | European Commission (europa.eu).

Investor Rights against Storebrand Asset Management AS and its service providers 

As an investor, you have a right of action against Storebrand Asset Management, of which you are an investor for any breach of contract. 

The exercise of these rights by an investor is strictly subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant Fund documents and/or legislation from which these rights derive. 

An investor has a regulatory right of action to pursue the depositary which has been appointed by Storebrand Asset Management AS in respect of: 
Any loss of an asset held in the custody of such depositary or any of its delegates, or any other losses caused by such depositary's negligent or intentional failure to properly fulfill its obligations under applicable regulations provided that this does not lead to unequal treatment of investors in Storebrand Asset Management's funds. 

Historical returns are no guarantee for future returns. Future returns will depend, inter alia, on market developments, the fund manager’s skills, the fund’s risk profile and management fees. The return may become negative as a result of negative price developments. There is risk associated with investing in funds due to market movements, currency developments, interest rate levels, economic, sector and company-specific conditions. The funds are denominated in NOK. Returns may increase or decrease as a result of currency fluctuations.
