Lars Qvigstad Sørensen leads Storebrand Asset Management’s Index & Quant team and serves as Senior Portfolio Manager, overseeing the firm’s systematic and index‑aligned investment strategies.
Before joining Storebrand AM, he held positions at Storebrand Life Insurance, focusing on strategic asset allocation for defined benefit schemes, as well as roles at MSCI, RiskMetrics, and Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM).
He holds a PhD in Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), a Master’s in Financial Engineering from Columbia University and a degree in Business and Economics from NHH.
