Meet us in Mannheim

>

SKAGEN Funds will be participating at the Mannheim Fondskongress 2016 in Germany on 27 and 28 January 2016. For those of you planning to attend the Congress we would be delighted to meet you at our stand number 149 on the second floor.

Portfolio manager, Filip Weintraub, will be speaking at the Mannheim FondskongressAs part of the official lecture program Portfolio Manager Filip Weintraub, from the recently launched high conviction global equity fund SKAGEN Focus, will be speaking in Hall 9 on Thursday 28 at 14:55-15:25. The topic of Filip's presentation is "Stockpicking: Cheapness and Change". Filip will discuss how the path of a stock picker of misunderstood and ignored companies is often a frustrating and lonely one. In the long term, active value investing has proven to create the best returns, also with lower fundamental risk. To find the best investment opportunities it is important to understand the ecosystem in which companies operate, and be willing to take a contrarian view to the rest of the market. Filip will illustrate his approach with case examples of companies in which SKAGEN Focus is invested.

We look forward to seeing you there!
