Bård Bringedal

Chief Investment Officer, Equities

Bård Bringedal is Head of Conventional Equity Products at Storebrand AM, a role he has held since 2016. He is responsible for four investment teams (Norwegian Equities, Delphi, Solutions and Index Quant), as well as the Risk and Ownership team which collaborates with Storebrand’s investment teams to integrate ESG into the investment and ownership processes. Bringedal is also a Board member on several of Storebrand’s international private equity funds.

He joined Storebrand in 2006 and previously worked as a portfolio manager in equity indexing and quantitative strategies before moving into broader leadership positions.

Bringedal holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim and studied Business Administration at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). He became a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder in 2010.
