Midhat Syed is a Portfolio Manager in the SKAGEN team at Storebrand Asset Management, focusing on the SKAGEN Global equity fund.

She began her career as an Analyst at Gulf International Bank in London in 2007. She joined SKAGEN Funds in 2010 and held several investment roles, including as a Portfolio Manager for the SKAGEN Select funds. After serving as an Investment Manager at Herfo Finans from 2023 to 2025, she rejoined the SKAGEN team in 2025.

She holds an MSc in Economics and Finance from Warwick Business School and a BSc in Economics, Econometrics and Finance from the University of York. She is a CFA charterholder and holds the CIPM designation.
