Jan Erik Saugestad is Chief Executive Officer of Storebrand AM, a position he has held since 2015. Saugestad joined Storebrand in 1999 and was previously Chief Investment Officer (2006-2015) and Head of Asset Allocation (2006-2015). He is also currently a member of several Boards, including SKAGEN AS, Storebrand Fonder AB, Cubera Private Equity AS, Capital Investment AS, AIP AS and the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC).
Saugestad is a highly respected advocate for sustainable investments, combining a long-term vision for a more sustainable society with a deep understanding of financial markets. His insights have made him a sought-after media commentator and regular speaker and panellist at international conferences and forums.
He also brings extensive asset management experience from previous leadership roles in Nordea, Handelsbanken and McKinsey. Saugestad holds a Master’s degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and an MBA from INSEAD in France.
